This page explains what information Threshold collects when you use this site, why, and who it is shared with. Threshold builds and hosts websites, runs Facebook ads, and provides a dashboard for small businesses. This policy covers the onboarding site you are on now and the dashboard we give you. It does not cover an individual client's own website.
What we collect
- Account: your business name, email address and a password (stored as a hash, never in readable form).
- Onboarding: the business details you enter, such as what you offer, where you are, your service area, hours, phone number, any logo or photos you upload or link to, and a billing email, so we can build your site and set up your Facebook Page and ads. We also record the date you authorized us to run ads for you.
- Ads and billing: the ad requests you make (topic, link, suggested budget), and invoice and payment status. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Leads from your website: if your website uses our contact form script, we store what a visitor submits (name, email, phone, message), the page they landed on and whether they came from a Facebook ad. This is kept in your dashboard and we handle it on your behalf.
- Facebook and Instagram access: you do not need to share any. Clients set up earlier may have shared access to their own accounts, which we use only to run their ads.
Why we collect it
To build and deploy your site and dashboard, create and run your ads, invoice you for ad spend, show you your leads and results, and keep everything running. We do not sell your information or use it for our own advertising.
Who it is shared with
- Resend, to send emails such as sign-in codes and notices to us.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site, your dashboard, their databases and the photos you upload.
- Stripe, to send invoices and process payments.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), where we publish your Page and run your ads from Threshold's own account.
- AI providers (Anthropic and Replicate), which process what you tell us about your business and your ad requests to draft ad copy and images.
We do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a client and for as long as needed to keep financial and billing records. When you end the service, you can ask us to delete the rest.
